Kimono Japanese Restaurant 2519 Lewisville Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012

"Got 2 sushi rolls (came in 2 poor quality boxes) and teriyaki chicken and steak owner or Manger placed the heavier box on top sushi boxes they are thin. I got to drive and drove slower then speed limit and the boxes turned over spilling all of teriyaki chicken and steak all over my cars floor where it was sitting. I look and the white sauce had no lid either. I called and manager/owner told me to "uh you should drive slow and carefully" when packing yo go orders heavy items go on the bottom. Not on top of very light weight items. This is not the first time I have an issue as normally I ask for noodles and kept getting rice instead. I let that go. The place is run down and not very clean. And the fish never seems fresh. I will not be going back. I rather spend extra on good quality and good service at any other Japanese restaurants."

"I ordered the chicken hibachi dinner which came with carrots and white sauce (I think they call it shrimp sauce). My food was so good! I had leftovers for lunch the next day which is even better. I had never eaten here before so I was skeptical but glad I did. They were very busy as well which was a sign that their food is good. I definitely recommend."

"Service was terrible! This used to be one of my favorite places. Server seemed less than interested to be there let alone having customers. Sushi was not what I wanted (what I wanted is pictured) and see those nice plates? Nope. None of that either... Shrimp was tiny and overcooked, chicken was dry... Steak was ok. The first round of drinks were ok, had to flag down server for refills, to which he brought some orangish tea, so those with tea had to switch. Water was spilt on the table, no apologies or offer to clean up or towel to do so. We were all very excited (it was most of my immediate family, no children... 8 people in total) no one was satisfied and the bill was close to $140. My once favorite place is no more and I will not be going back. Pictures posted are from 2+years ago and the food (and service) couldn't have been further from tonight's."

"Since I was going through Clemmons, I decided to grab some Japanese food at this location. I walked in the restaurant and was immediately greeted by the front hostess. She was very nice and placed my order very rapidly and gave me my wait time. I ordered my food for "to go," and the hostess allowed me to sit in their waiting area. There's a few TVs hanging along the walls, as well as Japanese inspired decorations.this place was also very clean and tidy. I recieved my order but I forgot to check my order before I walked out the restaurant. I asked for ginger sauce but was given white sauce bt mistake. Overall, the food was still good, and I will remember to check my food before leaving this restaraunt."
