"Hit or miss, but the hits are worth returning for. The sausage selection is amazing and we have enjoyed every variety that we tried, and we make a special trip to get bakery breads. The other bakery things like cookies and dessert are sometimes awesome but sometimes awful. I do not care for their BBQ, but I am partial to Eastern NC style and theirs is something ketchupy and ugh. But by and large a really great selection of food esp. for the non-vegetarians compared to most chain grocery stores. Speaking of veg, the produce section is well curated, but it's a little too expensive when Food Lion is right around the corner and always wins the produce game. But the Lowe's often has things I cannot find elsewhere like different types of peppers. They also have lots of pre-prepared things which I take no interest since I own a good knife and can cut up my own veg. The decor and farm theme is a gimmick. They hoot and holler into the intercom. You pay will extra for staples, somebody gotta pay for all that flair. I am not sure what to say about the employees, I think some out of touch corporate people are trying to embarrass them and make them role play this farm thing when nobody cares. The best part of the ambiance is the smoked meat smell in the back. Better not shop hungry when you go back there!"

"This is a wonderful place to shop. Recently, a person in the bakery recommended an item that was delicious. She was excited about the products and her advice was excellent. The folks who check me out are friendly and seem to care about what they do. Kudos to a store with good products, well organized, staged beautifully, and with great employees. I am impressed with this store and highly recommend that you try it. If you have a good experience there then please give them your support as well."

"OMG what a great store, never seen a beer & wine bar inside a grocery store before. So many local craft beers to choose from. Roaming free samples of food and fresh hot bread that's hard to miss. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Definitely looking forward to shopping here again on our next visit."
