"I typically don't leave reviews, but I was swayed to do so after an interaction with an employee. I frequented this location for a bit because I live close by and on this one occasion I was trying to purchase a package of lighters, for which I was carded. After I presented my VALID STATE ID I was questioned relentlessly by this employee. I am aware that I look younger than my age, but there was no warranted reason for her to question my age or lecture me as she later did. My boyfriend presented his ID as well and she began to get frustrated, short, and flippant with us expressing that she's trying to keep people from "the dangers" than can be posed by purchasing this product. I even expressed to her that I thought she was doing a good thing by asking for ID and being diligent to which she angrily responded "Well do I need to get my manager??" Regardless, I did not need to be lectured or harassed for almost 5 minutes at the check out line for the purchase of one single item. As well as this the store typically has empty shelves, dirty floors, and dusty surfaces. Harris Teeter is right next door and has far better selection and customer service, just save yourself the trip."

"Shelves barely had anything on them and it was a complete mess. Unpleasant staff, they apparently love talking smack about other people and at times other customers in store"

"Our dollar tree store is actually a $1.25 to $5 store full of useful things. They have a large selection of teaching aids and school supplies. I actually met a teacher there spending her own money on supplies not provided to her. The future of our world depends on her and people like her. I've got a Granddaughter in school, so I gave her some money back on principle. Only negative comment? Lots of stock in the aisles made it hard to get around."

"The employees at this dollar tree are amazing! I was so impressed by Windy’s customer service when I went there today. She was so nice to each customer who came in, I was shopping for a while and heard her kindness to each person and it made my day! It’s also a really nicely organized store and always tidy, even though usually only 1-2 people are working, so you can tell that the employees work super hard."
