"I purchased a meal there and the menu clearly stated a fried egg and they brought out a completely raw egg. I indicated I can’t eat that because the egg is raw. They made no attempt to remake the food and the food was not touched. They forced us to pay for food that we did not consume because the food was raw. I would not recommend anyone coming here to eat. Very bad service. The server remove the egg with a spoon and her hands (no glove) and put it on my side plate that had my appetizer on it without even asking (I moved my appetizers) if that’s okay. If you see the egg it just yolk because the whole egg was raw and the white part ran into the food. The portion was very small for the price compared to other Korean restaurants. All I wanted was the food as described on the menu. I will be contacting the better business bureau and the health department. This is just not right."
"I lived in Fayetteville for years and never knew this place was here. I had even eaten at Orchid Garden multiple times before it changed to Mr. K. The food here is really good. I’ve been twice, got the bulgogi both times, and really enjoyed it. They bring it out with a bunch of traditional sides that really add a nice touch. The building is clean and the service is very friendly but extremely slow. I wouldn’t recommend going here with a group bigger than 6 people because it seems to overwhelm the staff. I was the only person there the second time I went and felt like I got forgotten about. If you’re patient and just want to relax and enjoy some good Korean food than you should definitely check this place out."
"I love some Korean food. This place was the absolute best, in terms of food flavor & service. Def the best I've tasted since I've been here. My only issue is the price... we paid $60... $70 including the tip for potstickers, drinks (tea, which was good) jaja and jam bong, and some fried pork. Their prices are outrageous, which makes me disappointed because their food is so good and they were nice. The portion sizes are huge, but actually too much food. If they cut the portions & went down on price it would be legit but felt like a scam. It's also located in the cut, I recommend you drive around to park in front of the actual restaurant not park in the center then walk at night. I'd also recommend you try this place because it's sooo good but only if you're ready to spend big bucks."
"This is an unassuming place in the plaza shared with Grilled Ginger and LOL Bubble Tea. I decided to check this place out because it's has that hole-in-the-wall kind of appeal. I ended up ordering the Gun Man Doo (fried dumplings) for an appetizer and Jjam Bbong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) for my main entree. The dumplings were on the greasy side with a noticeable amount of oil that seeped inside that was unappealing. The flavor overall was decent and if cooked better would have been fine. The Jjam Bbong itself was a hearty portion with the noodles, but could have used a bit more salt since the broth tasted watered down. There was not much seafood in it and primarily had kim chi and onions. As mentioned in the other reviews, the service can be hit or miss and can appear a bit aloof. After I finished my meal, I expected my check, but the waitress took my bowls back and there was no one in the restaurant for a good 15 minutes. I was a bit surprised by this and got a bit worried/frustrated and when someone else came out from the back they did not seem to care much. Nonetheless, this place does have that 'made at home by your grandma' touch that does make this place endearing, but the food and service could be improved upon."
