"This restaurant should be closed down. I went to this restaurant on Friday the 13th 2023. I got off work around 5 o’clock and got to the restaurant about 5:30 PM. I went inside to order jerk chicken wings special and the waiter told me that they did not have any wings. He said the delivery man did not bring them. I then said well. I’ll just take the jerk chicken. The waiter took my money. He went to the back and he came right out and said someone had ordered this but since you’re here I’m going to give it to you I said awe thank you.. I got home and the piece of chicken was cut into three pieces. The rice and beans had sugar in them and it was spicy and it was cold. and I had two small pieces of plantains. I tasted a piece of the chicken and it was really raw to the bone. The rice smelt funny, and it had sugar in it, and it tasted like it was refrigerated. It was not fresh. I call to let the waiter know that the food he gave me was no good he said bring it back. I said I live far and I will have to come tomorrow, I had left the food on the counter overnight because I was going to take it back the next day. The next day when I woke up in the morning, the food smelled like pure garbage. I could not believe that they gave me old food. I went back the next day and he refunded my money. The moral of the story is, why can’t black owned restaurants, prepare food with Excellency. I don’t think the restaurant will be in business very long because they don’t care about what they give out to the public. The food should be fresh every day and they should never give anyone old and undercooked food. Because I could have bought a whole chicken for $638 and a box of uncle Ben rice and cabbage and one plantain. For less than $17. This is sad when I go to the Mexican and Chinese restaurants and Best to prepare the food well, and pleasing to the eye. They are trying to make money quick because they’re overcharging for the food and it’s not worth the price especially when you’re using leftover food."
"I ordered the large oxtail plate with extra plantains. The oxtails were black, extremely salty, and very tough. The white rice was old and hard, the cabbage was hard and raw(well seasoned), and the plantains were cold. I was very disappointed and being pregnant oxtails are my #1 craving. I had sat inside and tried to eat it but I had to leave because I had gotten so nauseous. Made it to the light threw up and cried. I had to pull over to find another Jamaican restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Btw I'm from Atlanta GA and I've never had an experience like this with any Jamaican restaurant."
"They have the best oxtails in Fayetteville, I will definitely be back to try the big boy plate. I also want to say the pineapple trio bout was off the scale for flavor and delicious."
"I had what was called a big boy plate, three different types of meat, brown stew, Cory, goat and curry chicken. It was delicious. Authentic and delicious."
