"Thanks to another reviewer we tried this tonight. GF pizza excellent Quite a few gf items on the menu. We got there at 5 pm Sunday and were seated right away. Pretty much full when we left. Two people one desert two drinks no alcohol 70$ with tip. Pretty reasonable . We are Travel2guys on trip advisor.."

"Food was excellent as always. Our server, Jordan, did an outstanding job. She was professional, knew the menu and was friendly. The ONLY reason I did not give a 5 star rating was due to an incident that happened as we were leaving. My wife tripped and fell because of a rug in the entryway. A kind man helped get her back on her feet. He said he had also fallen under same circumstances. Recommend that manager take hard look at the rug and maybe replace it with a more appropriate rug or mat."

"14JUL23 - Stopped in for dinner Friday night. Live music, great service, great food! I had the shrimp and grits and my wife had fried shrimp dinner. Both were excellent. Great place in the Wakefield area if you haven't been you should go. We'll definitely be back ‼️"

"Had lunch at Wakefield Tavern with a good friend. We both enjoyed a nice Saturday Morning Hazy IPA from Neuse Brewing! I had a Cowboy Burger with grilled onions, cheddar cheese and jalapeños but no bacon or BBQ sauce. I like BBQ sauce on chicken but not on a burger. My friend had the Patty Melt on Rye bread! I really enjoy this tavern and go there every time I’m in the area!"
