"Whenever I feel down, and don't have it in me to cook food, even easy food, I go here to get an extra large pizza to help feed myself for the week. When I get it home, if I'm not starving I'll warm it in the oven (the best way to reheat Avent Ferry's pizza IMO) This is truly excellent NY style pizza. At other places eating the crust is a chore, here it is a delight. The ingredients are quality and very tasty. The sauce has a delightful mild sweetness. It's a bit more expensive probably, however the quality ingredients and care make the price well worth it to me. Although the atmosphere is definitely 'hole-in-the-wall' it nonetheless has its own charm and they were burning incense today that smelled lovely. If you live in the area, or are visiting, I highly recommend this pizza parlor. For a truly unique gastronomic experience try the tandoori pizzas, which are delicious. I don't know of any other place that has anything like that. Avent Ferry is my favorite pizza place - try it instead of a chain!"
