Reviews
"Everything seemed to be prepackaged and/or reheated and not as well prepared as most local Indian restaurants. No pictures or descriptions on the menu made it difficult to order. Surprisingly pricey as well."
"Always relied on this place for take-outs but finally got a chance to try the famous Thalis... Tried the Nukkad Special Non Veg Thali and the Amritsari Kulcha Thali... Both came with special Paneel Butter Masala and Punjabi Chholey on the side... The Non-vegetarian Thali had a delicious chicken curry and an even more delicious goat curry, with four hot and fluffy pooris... And the Amritsari Kulchas were outright delicious, generously stuffed with paneer... A wholesome lunch rounded off with Rabdi with Malpoa... Highly recommended!"
"Today we just wanted to test the water because of the mixed reviews. Glad we only had some snacks. The pastry of the chicken samosa was super tough and the filling was dry and tasteless. The chana chaat was ok, the vegetable samosa was much better but I felt that the dish was lacking some yoghurt. Also at those prices I would like table service and not to clear the table myself."
"I've named this place 'Chaat Paradise.' If you're craving some authentic Bombay chaat snacks, this is the spot to visit. During our recent visit, we tried the Pani Puri, which fell a little short of expectations, primarily because we were expecting it to come with the two types of ‘paani’ (flavored water). However, the Sev Puri Dahi Puri were incredibly delightful, bursting with fantastic flavors. The Aloo Tikki Chaat also offered a delicious medley of tastes. As for the chicken kebabs, they were all perfectly cooked, tender, and rich in flavor. I highly recommend the Malai Kebabs, as they were skillfully prepared and featured more subtle, yet delightful, masala flavors."
"This place has been a go-to (or should I say to go?) place for hearty comfort food through the pandemic and our times in Cary. Nukkad combines the spirit of Indian street food and traditional fast-casual eating style with the American idea of convenience— it even has a drive-through! Today was our first time dining in, and we enjoyed that experience. We typically get a couple of chaat and street food appetizer items, a thali (an assorted platter with rice, bread, and multiple entrees), and dessert to share. Most items on the menu are pretty delicious! It is always a pleasure to grab food from this place."
