Tropical Smoothie Cafe 150 Andrews Road, Fayetteville, NC 28311

"My wife and I frequently order from the Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Andrews Road. Not sure if that will happen again. This Sunday evening we were relaxing during a rainy day enjoying movies in our living room decorated for the holidays trying to decide what we wanted to eat. My wife decided she wanted another Chipotle Ranch Wrap. After the gym yesterday we had wraps for lunch I got the chicken and bacon. Our food arrived and we begin to eat. 10 minutes into the meal my wife shrieks and pulls a piece of wax paper out of her mouth. Obviously I’m immediately on the phone with the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager who halfway through conversation laughed and said it wasn’t me that made the sandwich…….I literally stopped to make sure she was in the same conversation as I was. When I asked her what her name was she says, “Everybody calls me D!” At this point I realize I’m speaking to a child. And asked for a refund. She then says, I can’t get to right now we are kinda busy”. No words can express how outdone I am right now. This is completely unacceptable. I know young folk need to work but the owners of these establishments need to teach their employees what customer service looks and sounds like. Unprofessional, Unpleasant, Unsatisfactory."

"I’ve given this location three separate tries but every time I return I have the same issue. The smoothie is never blended all the way. I usually get the peanut butter cup and end up having a huge chunk of peanut butter that isn’t blended in along with big chunks of ice (see picture below). The smoothies are never filled up all the way either. About an inch short of the top of the cup. The staff is friendly but the smoothie is always subpar. Especially for almost $7."

"The perfect healthy choice that makes you feel energized and refreshed. The smoothies are perfect and delicious; not too thick and not too watery. They have healthy sandwiches, wraps, and salads (also made fresh) Tropical Smoothie Cafe is like a mini getaway. Very clean and smells of fruits. Beach feeling. Would defenetly recommend, and would make this a regular stop (if I didn't live in CA)"
