"El Amigo is an absolutely bomb restaurant and if you're in Cary, this is THE place to get amazing Mexican food. For dinner, I ordered the Empanadas de Pollo (Pictured below) and it was perfect! The empanadas were baked excellently and the chicken and vegetable filling inside was, without a doubt, delectable. The chips and salsa were also very good. The service style in this restaurant is a little different from your average sit down Mexican place. You order and pay for your food upfront at the counter and wait for it to come to your table. Our food came out quickly and hot! The restaurant was kept up nicely and the whole place was very clean. There weren't many decorations up, but I think that was just because when we came in they were putting away the Christmas decor haha. Overall, El Amigo is a great place for Mexican in Cary. If you're in the area and looking for an awesome reliable meal, this is the place to be!"

"First time here. Ordered huarache cabeza, huarache pasto, and Caldo de res. Authentic Mexican food. Love the soup a lot. Proper price. They have a patio too, beautifully decorated. Didn’t eat there because there was a storm then."
