"BUYER BEWARE!!! Ordered items in February 2021 and it's middle of May 2021 and I have received NOTHING other than a few emails stating shipping is delayed. They took my money in February and won't refund except for store credit (but you can't get your items because there is always a 45 to 60 day delay). They even called to say they were shipping my items 2 weeks ago but would it be okay to ship a different color of a top. I say yes but still nothing has arrived. UPDATE: I finally got my items June 2021. In order to get them I had to accept 2 of my items in different colors than I originally purchased, otherwise, there was no promise of even getting them. They also sent me a free lounge set. Quality & fit of the items is middle of the road. Still won't purchase from them ever again."
"Okay so I found sept & co about 9 months ago and I cannot express how much this company has worked their butts off to improve every single day! Their shipping times have drastically improved, most in stock items now ship same day! The quality of their products are amazing and are reasonably priced. They have outrageously good sale, pretty often! And the staff... they are literally all AMAZING! I will admit there have been a few mistakes with some of the orders I’ve placed; however, they literally bend over backwards to fix the mistake, quickly, every single time! For a small, growing, business you really cannot pick a better company to support. I am embarrassed to admit just how many orders I have placed in the last nine months and will remain a loyal customer forever!"
"My favorite thing about this company is that they are honest. As a long time shopper I can truly say that I have never contact Katie or her staff and not gotten incredible service. Katie continually has evolved and improved the companies policies and buying trends based off of customer feedback all while producing quality clothes that she herself and her staff proudly wear as well. As a customer I know that my business is valued and that is felt every time I walk through the doors. I am proud to shop and support September and Company and will continue to support such an amazing "small" but incredible business."
"I ordered nearly 3 months ago and went back and forth with employees the entire time. They never had an answer as to when my order would ship, sent and email stating they had no idea, and then they just stopped responding altogether. Their policy states they will credit your account if the delivery goes outside of the promised time frame but that did not happen. Employees and owner are rude and difficult. I filed a case with PayPal to get my money back last week and mysteriously my package shows up within the week. Sizing and quality are terrible! I ordered two items in the same size and one is incredibly small and one is incredibly big. The shirt is see through, stitching is off, a complete waste of money and time. I think it goes without saying that I will never purchase anything from this "boutique" again. They are dishonest and you probably will never receive your order."
"I placed two orders on May 9th, one for tanks tops and one for swimsuits during a sale that offered a free swim skirt with purchase of two swim suits. After waiting two months, during which I moved and promptly communicated that I had moved and needed the shipping address to be changed, I finally got a shipping notification for the swim suits order, and it was shipped to the wrong address. I contacted the company and they offered to order me new swim suits and ship it out. I declined and said I would pick up in store and asked for my tank tops to be held as well once they arrived. By the time I got a phone call to come pick up it was the beginning of August. I arrived in store to pick up and while my tank tops were present, the girl working had the wrong swimsuits for me and there was no swim skirt. I politely asked for a refund since I already had purchased other swimsuits for the summer while waiting and was told there were no refunds but they would give me store credit. I honestly just wanted my money back for all of it at this point but as a small business owner myself it is always my first instinct to be understanding and supportive so I took the store credit. I was then told that store credit could only be used on in stock items. The in stock items list included very little in my sizes but I eventually settled on some things and went to place my order on August 2nd, and was charged for shipping even though I had already paid shipping TWICE for two orders that were never shipped to me. It is now September 11th and none of my replacement items have arrived, which seems strange to me since I was limited to only items that the company already had in store, it should have taken no more than a week. So at this point in time I have spent $141.76, made the hour drive to and then the hour drive from the boutique to pick up myself after shipping failed and waited patiently since the beginning of May and all I have to show for it is one tank top, because of the two I ordered only one was sized appropriately. I honestly just want my money back and at this point it truly feels like theft and I don’t expect to ever receive items equal to the dollar value I have spent. I absolutely will never do business with September & Co again nor will I recommend them to any of my friends. I’ve offered communication and plenty of time to correct the negligent service I’ve received but the lack of communication and organization is absolutely unacceptable and I strongly warn against ordering here if you hope to receive your items in a timely manner. Edit to add: Since the time of placing this review the store owner has made the effort to reach out and apologize for the miscommunications her staff has had and has offered me additional store credits to make up for the frustrations involved in the entire situation. I truly appreciate her taking the time and effort so I’ve given additional stars to my review but do still warn that this company is going through growing pains and patience will be needed if you plan to order."
