Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

"I was so excited when I saw the wood fire grills and absolutely stunning decor. Unfortunately, the food and service did not match the stunning decor.i ordered the firebird burger, it was cold to the touch, and had congealed cold fat on the burger. Super slimy onions that were supposed to be crisp .did not even eat. I tried my colleague scallops at market price, mind you absolutely overcooked, and rubbery I also had the tortilla soup, which was also as cold as a gazpacho. I did eat this since I was so hungry .. You may ask why I didn't. I sent these items back. Well, the service was 40 minutes to the table, so I wouldn't have ample time. Furthermore, if they didn't do a simple burger right the first time, it won't happen the second time."

"I usually am not too impressed by polished-casual chain restaurants, but this Firebirds location hit on all the marks and I left very satisfied. My family and I came for my sister’s birthday, and the food, as well as the service, was very good!"

"I'm trying new eateries in Charlotte. Firebird has a nice atmosphere, and it was not busy. The waitress was not very friendly but she did her job. I ordered a medium-well burger with fries and the Ahi Tuna appetizer. The tuna was sliced thicker than I have usually experienced, but it was ok. The burger had good flavor but was past well done and charred on part of it. I don't like the charred flavor, but I did not want to send it back for time reason. The experience was not the greatest, and I am not sure if I will return. If I do, I'll try something else."

"My wife and I came here for dinner. We made a reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. We tried the cheesesteak egg roles and they were a miss. It was an interesting attempt. My wife had the tomahawk pork chop which she said was very good. I had the wings with fries. The wings were not cleaned well and the ranch they have is a garlic ranch. So overall my meal was not the best, but my wife did enjoy hers."

"Celebrated dinner with friends tonight. The food and service were amazing. Avin was fantastic. He was knowledgeable of the menu and attentive to my parties' wants. Someone in my party had her ny strip slightly undercooked, and another waitress took it back, and it came back to the table minutes later perfectly cooked. To top the night off, the dessert had a candle in it and happy b-day on the plate for the guest of honor. Some small hiccups but easily corrected and attention to detail made my friends very happy. Another enjoyable meal, Firebirds! Keep it up; I'll be back!"
