"Worst experience go a furnace put in it didn't work for almost 3 weeks they hade someone come out twice to try and fix it but couldn't and they only came because I was calling no stop especially because it started to blow cold air continously after they worked on it which made it colder in the house then outside. They finally realized the had the wrong part and ordered it and now works. I also was suppose to have my back roof done after them taking pictures and going over it they said they could do my roof only to change their minds a week later but not inform me I had to call to see why it was taking so long that when I was told they couldn't do it and a sales person was suppose to call me and that they would call later. No one ever called me I have to keep calling and I finally did get a person that could help me and I'm still waiting on my refund. No I didn't do these things separate I sign paper work for them to do at the same time I would never punish my self by trusting them twice."
"The initial unit was sent to the wrong place; hence, the unit was not install on the date scheduled. I understand that unforeseen things happen. But I do have an issue with the fact that Ryan from that Greenville, SC office did not bother to answer our calls to inquire about the status our AC unit. We had to call several different people within the Sears organization to find out what was going on with our AC unit. We were very surprised how Sears handled this situation given our very good past experience with Sears. On top of all that they didn't shipped the thermostat that we had bought."
"Replaced 13 old metal framed sliding windows with new Windcore sliding windows. Fantastic product, great fit, and tight seal. In addition to the new windows, the very best part of the project was the installation team! Kevin and his crew were the best. Highly recommend these folks for your next window replacement project."
"No stars for this company. Started a contract on December 9, 2017. They started the work on March 13, 2018 . This was also supposed to be a shower remodel. They put a prefabricated wall which was supposed to be custom made. However, nothing was custom made about that when it was sawn on our front lawn. The wall panels had holes in on the top and the design pattern did not match. This is a nightmare and it is long from being over. Will update you when we have a new shower."
"Our experience with Sears was not good. Our sales person was not trained to work with Sears. The contract said the heater would be installed in approximately 2-3 weeks; the reality of that was 2 1/2 months. The heater is loud. The customer service is poor. It took 8 weeks just to get a copy of the contract that we signed on a tablet. Had to pay up front or no deal. That was a mistake! In the multiple attempts it took to get a copy of the contract the customer service rep asked why I was calling her location. Well, IDK, except that was the only number I had! Told me she would only the send the contract as a favor to the Charlotte location. Was told by one of the service techs, "if you knew how far we had to come, you would have made us breakfast". If Sears is going to work outside the Charlotte area, they should put their workers in hotels so they have enough time to do the work and not resent the long drive. So much more and so little room to write it. I would not recommend Sears. I was a number to them and that number had a $ sign in front of it. Find a smaller, local company."
