"This place is fantastic! My husband and I go at least once a week to enjoy a night out while our husky burns off her energy. They have expanded so much in the past year and there is always something to enjoy. Their food and drinks are always great and there are always drink or food specials to enjoy. The staff remember you and your dog and are always friendly. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wanted a fun place to hang out, with or without a canine friend."

"I really like the concept of a “dog” bar. I LOVE that it is in Belmont, NC so close to home! Jen and Kali are super friendly. Greet my dog and me by name. Excellent selection of beer, wine and cocktails along with food trucks. There is an off leash area for the pups to romp, a kiddie pool for them to cool off in. There an on leash area for pups who prefer and an amazing selection of games for the whole family. I cannot say enough good things about this local gem!"

"First time coming to Thirsty Dog! Employees explained everything from the rules for dogs to what drinks they have to offer. Trivia night on Tuesdays and other events. They also will have beach volleyball in the future. We got the Apple cider margarita which was phenomenal! Great prices on drinks. Different local food truck everyday. Employees are super friendly and the area is so cute ! Has an esthetic feel inside and out. Will be back :)"

"Nice, well-kept full-bar dog bar in north Belmont. As soon as it opened we came to check it out and bought an annual pass that day. It is clean, the employees are friendly, and the everyone seems to keep a handle on their dogs. There are off-leash and on-leash areas, a large covered patio with bar service, and plenty of tables to sit at. The day and annual pass prices are very reasonable. There are food trucks most days, sometimes they offer karaoke, live music, and trivia. We’re happy to see this type of investment/establishment in this neighborhood!"
