Reviews
"Unfortunately I read the one review that states most of the bowl is bananas and very little açaí after I went today. He wasn’t lying, had that same experience. Too much money for a bowl of sliced bananas with some Nutella and a spoonful of granola at best."
"I will start off by saying I am HARD to impress! I eat a variety of foods, BUT my dad is a high end cook and my husband was trained by him..... I stumbled upon this place visiting my parents.. 35 mins away from my house! I MAKE the trip just to get these bowls! The fruit is chopped small, FRESH and the combinations are endless with toppings! I like desserts and make them very well I might add... I would eat this over my sweets BC you are not missing anything! I wish he would park this truck in my backyard! Definitely HEAVEN in a bowl!!!! I will be back!!! We got the Butter Bro and Rainbow bowls!"
"Absolutely the worst açaí I’ve had. By far. Over half the bowl was sliced banana. The açaí was grainy and didn’t have the smoothie texture one is accustomed to. Lame granola with no distinct flavorful touch. Also, the bowls are small and expensive. A large bowl will cost you around $20 with tax! Anyone with any culinary talent could make a 5X better bowl at home. Hard pass. Save your hard earned money. (The picture is of the bowl about half eaten)"
"Found Rico’s through a Google search as we left Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens (DSBG) — we were looking for a quick and easy snack, that was not fast food. This truck is behind the “everyday market” in downtown Belmont, about 12 minutes from DSBG. The bowls were fresh made and the fruit for the rainbow bowl was delicious and plentiful. Prices are were average — based on our experiences with açaí bowls — $10-17 depending on size and flavor. A small was more than enough for two kids to enjoy. There are picnic benches/tables, but no umbrellas so we are in the car because it was very hot without shade on the tables. Overall a fine place to stop if you’re in the area."
"Maddie and Samantha were amazing and prepared my bowl really quickly. They offered amazing recommendations and even accommodated my peanut allergy. I will definitely be coming back."
