"this place was very disappointing. I am a single mother and I spent weeks working hard to be able to take my 3 kids out to a nice meal. back before my husband died and we had money we would come here a lot , our favorite employee Ananya would always greet us and be so kind and give amazing service. This time when we went, there was a RAT that scurried across my feet! I was so scared, since my husband died from rabies, and I don't want to leave my kids to be orphans. I called the manager Amber over and she told me "shut the F up that never happened. keep eating your pizza fatty" I was appalled. NEVER will return!"

"After being recommended by a close friend I thought I would take my family here as I am quite busy with work and had a day off a few weekends ago. Upon being seated the waitress asked me what my 11 year old son wanted to order (he is black and we adopted my sweet boy as a baby) and I told her to ask him because he is right there and the waitress responded with "does he know he's a adopted?" So I ask to speak to the manager (her name was either amber or Allison I don't remember) and she was dismissive and just offered us a coupon to stay quiet. We stormed out before we could even order before this place could make us morbidly obese from their low easy bake oven quality pizza. I would prefer ordering pizza from SHEIN from now on :("

"My experiences here, have always been pleasant. The food portions and tastes are always good. I appreciate the service. The ambiance doesn't seem rushed. It's an exciting atmosphere. They'll usually have sports programs on the television, at the bar. I've been to another Hawthorne's NY Pizza restaurant on 7th Ave Hawthorne Ave, in the uptown area, and it has the same vibe. I recommend enjoying a pleasant time at either location with friends and/or family. I'm excited to go back and visit"

"Excellent pizza. It's not too greasy and classic new York style. Perfect blend of cheese to sauce. Definitely eat here again. Also the cesar salad was huge and very tasty."

"Went for dinner with my son. We're seated and ordered right away. He wanted the buffalo chicken pizza. Fresh, hot and crispy. Tasted great. Upon reflection...should have gotten pepperoni and mushrooms. Service was ok. Lots of people working, but had to ask for the bill(not a lot of checking back). Not the best pizza, but good. Two drinks and an 18 inch pizza and tip...$43. Kind of pricey for us."
