"Not too crowded. A nice place to go for some real Mexican food. Food came out hot and quick. Servers were attentive without hovering. I will definitely be back."
"Quick service and great tasting food!"
"We have eaten here several times since we moved here in November. Food has always been very good. Service is hit and miss."
"Typical San Jose menu but I enjoyed my dinner. It was clean, staff were attentive, and our waitress refilled our drinks very quickly. The roqueta dish with pork was very tasty. The pork was tender and I enjoyed the mole sauce. The mole sauce tasted homemade. I would definitely return again."
"I was craving Mexican food, and I ended up at San Felipe. Upon entering the establishment, it was pretty empty for being 5:30 pm. I waited a few minutes to be seated, but no one assisted me. I walked myself and sat at the bar, and again, no one helped me. I started to look around me and noticed several employees on their break. A few were sitting at the bar having their dinner, and another fellow was on his phone. After looking around for a waiter, I was handed a menu by an employee on break. I ordered a beer and the Carolina Chimichanga. As the food arrived, I snapped a photo as I usually do. I started taking a few bites and was satisfied. On the corner of my eye, I noticed a group of employees in the kitchen looking at me and laughing. I didn't make much of it, and I continued eating. I caught the same group again laughing at second glance, and they quickly dispersed. Their actions made me quite uncomfortable, and I started to think something was wrong with my food. I could not finish my food and decided to ask for the check and leave. Once in my hotel room, I started feeling, you guessed, sick to my stomach. I ended up eating soup and crackers for the rest of Super bowl weekend as I got food poisoning from this establishment. Always trust your gut feeling. If something does not seem right, always walk away. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If you're an intelligent person, you will avoid this place like CoVID"
