"It used to be the best seafood around, but the last 2 yrs the food is over cooked, Staff members are rude, it's just not like it was when the older women worked there, they knew how to treat people and cook seafood. Still good prices and the food is still good, just over cooked, and the staff are rude. I'm going to miss eating there, Millikens in shallotte are way better now than they are. I'll go again in a year and see if they've gotten better."

"I finally got a chance to try this place after years of wanting to. My food was amazing and very affordable (which is rare these days.) My wife has had it many times, but I grew up a county over, so it was a new treat, that I will definitely be adding into my "need to go" places. Also, the atmosphere was an added bonus. This is the kind of mom and pop place that I grew up going to, and far prefer to any large establishment."

"Nice little shack with a good flow of locals and small screened in sitting area. Nice frendly service and food was cooked to order. Great amount of food for the cost. We got the shrimp burger and shrimp and fish plate both were delicious. Hush puppies were nice and fluffy and coleslaw was satisfying. Would definitely come again if in the area."
