"I have been to this particular store twice and I’ve been taken aback by the staff’s rudeness both times. I’m located in the greater TN area, so I’ve only popped in to this store while vacationing at Myrtle Beach. I’m a Platinum/Legend customer and have done plenty of online and in-store business with WHBM for 15 years now, so I’m not new to WHBM in any way. Basically, the staff member I dealt with refused to look up my account, even though prompted a number of times. Acted as if allowing me to return a broken Chain Open Cardigan was some sort of a favor, since I had worn and washed it - once. She flat out asked me what I had done to the sweater and claimed that there has been no returns. One of the chains broke apart in the washer and there are similar experiences reported in the WHBM rating online for this particular product. Continued to claim the the returns were out of the 60 day return window for the other, unworn & still tagged item, which was inaccurate; the packaging slip clearly stated the purchase date 2/22/23 and this encounter took place on the first week in March, 2023. Then tried to tell me that the purchase took place in 2022. Again, my account information or the packaging slip would have rendered this discussion unnecessary. Finally realized that she was wrong, but no apology. Needless to say, I did not stay to browse the offerings in the store but left as soon as I got my receipt. Not returning. As a side note, the staff in the nearby outlets mall were delightful and I did pick up a couple of blazers here a day or so after."
