"I went today on my vacation. I am a big fan of Francescas since they had more locations all over the country. I went to all DMV locations and willing to visit all locations here. But the old lady who works here was rude and ruined my shopping time. She seemed nice, active and loud helping other customers but me. She didn’t say hi or asked if I needed any helps. Only the young lady helped me. That was ok but I needed to exchange and return my clothes I bought from Charleston location yesterday. Today I got 4 earrings and one dress for exchange the size. I tried to find my size so I can exchange all of the items I purchased yesterday but they didn’t have my size so I exchanged only 1 and I acknowledged that the deal right now is buy1 get $1 so I asked the young lady…should I find one more dress to complete the deal and the young lady said it is ok she got me with the return price for the size I want(that should be $19) But when saw the receipt they charged me full price with no buy one get $1 deal I asked if it was right? I thought I asked if it is qualified for exchanging size. The young lady was so confused. So the old lady talked to me with unhappy face and didn’t get what going on but she seemed ok to refund the difference with annoyed face and they handed me a new receipt with the difference return price. So I asked is this the same return transaction with the one before or the second transaction. She didn’t understand and raised her voice and asked me what is my problem? And she said We didn’t need to do exchanging for you at all and walked away. That was so rude. I did not try to take advantage from getting one dress for half price. I asked if the exchanging size works for the deal. I swear I asked if I need to get one more dress to qualify the deal buy one get $1. (I am happy to pay full price for one dress and get one for $1 as the deal so it will be fair to anyone.) I feel like she looked down on me. I didn’t not need to get one for exchange half price. If I didn’t ask the young lady that is ok to do this?? I will totally understand her rude service but unfortunately I asked already but you all were not professional and rude to the customer. **The suggestion** The staff should politely say I can’t exchanged it because it is not a pair to complete the deal buy one get $1. Would you consider to get one more dress or anything to pair with this dress and we can complete the deal. You can ask me one more time politely if you didn’t hear me ask the young lady the same question already. And she said “YES IT IS OK” The old lady staff should have said that instead of acting rude to me. I think it is because I am the only Asain there. I love Francesca I don’t want this company to keep losing customers and close more stores. Need to train you employees better. I have been a royal customer for more than 3 years. Sometimes you employees get confused with the promotion or deal so I always be aware and double check my receipts.If we get confused they always be polite and try to explain it. But not for this old lady in this location."
"Bad sales associate! I was at the store today with my 1yo son; I was looking to buy some shorts, but nothing fitted me well, so when I was about to leave,the sales associate, saw that I left clothes in a dressing room and said:are you gonna leave it like that? Which I felt was really insulting because there were other customers also. The reason why I was in rush is because my son was about to cry and I didn’t want to bother other people. I was working in retail and I never ever treated anyone like that even if people would leave a huge mess after them, that’s a part of a job and that’s what you are paid for. Even if you are busy just smile,put it at the counter and hang it when you have time . She said “normally customer would hang it”… that’s so so bad! I saw other customer face and they left right when they heard it, outside they told me that’s not normal to treat people like that. A lady has an attitude, not telling about being helpful. Never come back here again!"
"Shop here frequently for my daughter. Checked online today for hours and showed as open to 7 pm when I arrived their doors were open and they were arranging stock. The "mature" women stated they were closed and when I said this was disappointong and explained that I checked their website before coming out. They had no reply other than mocking me as I walked away. I suggest going to the Tanger outlets or another location."
