"Didn’t even get to eat here. Got here at 11:10 and walked up to workers talking outside the entrance about cocaine. Then we go to get in the doors and the people are just looking at us because the doors are locked. They walk away without saying anything to us and when we finally walk over there they say “we aren’t open come back in a few minutes”. I always came here as a family lunch experience when I was a kid and loved it. Now I don’t due to the rudeness and lack of rapport to paying customers that the workers exhibited. Times are different now I guess and nobody wants to work unless it’s handed to them"
"I love K&W. I came in wanting my favorite turkey and dressing, but it looked rough, and there was no gravy. I got the country style steak with rice and gravy. It was good but I really wanted turkey and dressing."
"I use to go to K&W for years when I was younger. This is my first time going since they moved out of the Hotel. The outside looks great. The onside is updated. I ordered country style steak, rice with gravy, cabbage and banana Pudding. The food was excellent. Both drink stations were out of lemonade. The waitress was very good but a little slow to get to us. I'm not holding that against her because she was hosting a large party and us at the same time. Overall the food was great and prices were reasonable."
"Basically you pay for each item you choose like you would in a hospital cafeteria. Though you're served on a line and get your own beverage waitresses come around to refill your drinks give napkins, etc Deborah "blue eyes" was very interactive, she brought to go containers right away knowing they were running out. Willy Reed was offered exemplary service. Britney was sweet. Mark and debra (at checkout) were pleasant. Great salads if you're health conscious!"
"We were headed to one place but it was too crowded.. found this and thought we'd try it because we like old school cafeteria style restaurants. The hospitality in this place was a breath of fresh air! The food was good, could've used a bit more seasoning/flavor but it was good & you can ask for some hot sauce or something. They had fried pork chops and I added some gravy and onions to make it smothered like.. portion sizes are commendable. I ate 1 pork chop and some of my sides and saved the rest for a full dinner meal. Price was less than $40 & with my tip came out to $50 something. The tea was sweet. My husband lemonade was nasty though. Seating was nice. The entrance was a little confusing at first but overall nice experience. Would recommend you try it out."
