"I gave this place deserves FIVE STARS for it's authenticity and the huge effort-to-please extended to us by the lady who appears to be the chef/cook. She was so nice! We sat at an outside table, under the carport. It was very pleasant on the day we were there, Saturday, 10/15. I had one each tacos: carnitas, pastor, and steak on soft, hot corn tortillas, cilantro and onion. The red and green hot sauces were very good, and not so hot that my wife couldn't enjoy them. I like spicy hot, and they were fine. The tacos were accompanied by a basket of chips (hot and crispy, though not my favorite style) and also two salsas: one mild and one warmer. Both were nice and tasty. My wife had 3 beef tacos in crunchy shells. They were a minced beef mixture, with sour cream, and looked like Taco Bell's taco. These are probably the way the locals like them. My wife did too. We also enjoyed the refried beans. Price was good."

"I had a really great experience visiting this restaurant! I really enjoyed the food while I really didn’t know what to expect but it’s really great authentic Mexican food which I really enjoyed a lot! The service was great as it seems like it’s a family restaurant which is great! Definitely a must try if you’re in the Pickens area!"

"The atmosphere is very nice. They even have an outdoor seating area. It was too cold to utilize that. I had the fish tacos I was very pleased it was no breading on the tacos. The salsa was not extremely hot which I love hot. They did have my two favorite hot sauces at the table. The chips were a little greasy and they did not offer us a refill. I asked for water with lemon I did not receive the lemon. The Texas nachos were three meals in one. The empanadas or greasy and there wasn't enough meat. The seafood menu look delicious and they had a lot to choose from."
