"We visited one morning on our way home from Keowee-Toxaway State Park. Your regular small town diner atmosphere. Classic breakfast menu, good food and fast, friendly service."

"My wife and I went for breakfast here while staying near Pickens. The waitresses were really nice to us and our little girl and the breakfast was really good. We ended coming back every morning of our stay and consistently good food and great service. The servers and locals all had to say bye to our little girl on the last morning. Definitely recommend for breakfast in Pickens."

"Chicken tenders and fries. Waited over 30 min. Fries were cold and tenders were tiny. Place is a little grungy. The staff were nice but I had to get up and get things several times we had asked for. I don't plan to go back."

"Cafeteria style restaurant that is self-service. We visited just before closing time so the food was a little old. The fried chicken was tough and chewy, I didn't end up eating it. The vegetables were plentiful and tasted fresher than they looked. It appears this is a local hotspot as the parking lot was quite full. I am sure if we hs gotten there during the lunch rush, the food would have been much fresher and tastier. Since we were just passing through, we weren't aware of this. Everyone enjoyed their meal and agreed that we just arrived late, thus the quality had diminished from sitting on the stream table. We will try this place again, but closer to opening time."
