"I ordered online and picked up my food, which was ready really fast. The calamari could have been cooked longer and he sauce on my spaghetti could have been seasoned more. The meatballs were good as well as the garlic bread but the food just didn't wow me."

"We were in town to see a show at Ovens auditorium & needed to get a bite 1st. We weren't familiar with the area so we looked to google(it was fate) for a recommendation. A pizza joint named Sal's is a no brainer. We weren't disappointed. The first thing that greets you when you pull into their no too small, not enormous parking lot is the wonderful smells that undoubtedly originate from the oven. The dining room is functional but simultaneously homey and warm. The friendly staff greeted us as we walked in to see multiple "best of ...' awards displayed next to their register. Jackpot! We ordered the LARGE (seriously) meat lovers . Only $2 difference makes a small into a LRG... worth it. The dough was delicate and had a great crunch you only get from scratch. The cheese pull was out of a cartoon. Every topping showcased flavors you expect to find when using quality ingredients. T.L.D.R: Drove 3 hrs from SC to NC through horrible traffic. Rewarded with pizza crafted by angels. As the saying goes... try it yourself, you'll thank me later."

"The pizza is amazing. We got the pizza by the slice. Cheese, BBQ, Pepperoni, Hawaiian and Garlic knots. Excellent service and excellent taste."

"Not a very good experience, Ordered a to go: chicken alfredo pasta and margherita pizza. Both were equally bad: Pasta: bland taste, chicken pieces were not even cooked well , very decent taste Pizza: horrible, tooo much of tomato sauce, unwven doloops of olive oil and mozeralla on pizza felt very raw. I think they rushed the whole order. Not recommend plus the to go order was super pricey as well."

"So we ordered Uber eats from Sals Pizza Factory on Monroe Road - we will be back in person next time to try slices! Small Meat lovers, small Hawaiian, small bruschetta pizzas. Fried mozzarella in vodka sauce, meatballs and mild wings. Best to get there hot and eat it in - the bruschetta was very good but a lot of garlic, and tomatoes so a lot of juice and I just think it would have been better in house. The fried mozzarella is a MUST TRY - my son said he'd go back again just for that! Meatballs were good, firm, nice flavor. Definitely worth a visit! For me: Jets thin crust BLT is still my favorite - this Bruschetta was GOOD but a TON of garlic and got soggy in the middle BUT I want to go in person to Sals and try a few slices to see what else they have. Someone said over 30 flavor combinations!! Also want to try the entrees because I love bed the fried mozz too!!!"
