"One of our favorite BBQ places in Asheville. We eat here all the time but I often forget to take photos before we finish our food. Place is usually busy but today I managed to sneak in a few photos before a dozen people entered the restaurant. We had a quick lunch today - smoked Turkey breast sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Usually we will get the delicious sides too. You have to try their hash brown casserole. Everything is so good here - catfish sandwich, ribs… Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor and good parking, A quick drive from downtown and totally worth a visit if you are craving good BBQ."

"Great food. We had the pulled pork and the catfish sandwich. The pork was good but the catfish really really good. Also the cornbread was exceptional. The Mac and cheese a little dry but the potato salad was very good. Today they had a cobbler as a side and it was also very good (could have used some vanilla ice cream)."

"I've been been quiet on my reviews for the past few years, but this place took me out of retirement, and rightfully so. I've been to a few BBQ places on my trip to Asheville, and this has been the best without question. The pulled pork was juicy with the proper amount of sauce, which isn't spicy but sweet with a hit of tangy. Can never have enough. The wide variety of sides has something for everyone. For me, it was the potato salad. Creamy with some onions and pepper for added crunch and punch. Skins for some additional texture. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is perfect for two, or large groups of 12. You won't be disappointed and consider a second plate."

"First time here, was recommended by a local. You order up front at the counter and pick up when it's ready. Food was good and was out super quick. Had the ribs which were very good. Also the beans were some of the best we've had. Cornbread was also delicious. For other sides had Mac 'n cheese, Collards greens and potato Salad all were good. But not as good as the ribs-beans-and corn bread. Plenty of off road parking. Wasn't too busy when we went, but it was early. They seem to do a lot of take out. All of the help were very pleasant. Would return if in the area."
