"The man who I spoke with was extremely rude when I dropped off my clothing of which included Free People, Lululemon, and quality leather items. I was met with sassiness and just horrible customer service. As someone who has worked realty for years I would never treat someone the way he did. They didn’t even bother to look at the clothes I left, everything was in the same order. Given I wasn’t up to code with the way they expect clothing to be dropped off to which he said “would you sell your car like this?” In an extremely demeaning way. Do not go here. 0 stars if possible."

"This is the best resale experience I’ve ever had! After retirement, I had 15+ years of stored fancy handbags, business clothes, totes, boots, etc. that I will no longer use. I took a huge load to Clothes Mentor in Asheville, and they purchased more than half of what I had at a fair price. I had the option of a purchase or store credit (which is slightly higher), and I took cash. They do an estimate first, which you can accept or not. After I asked the staff for donation ideas for the remainder, they suggested a program transitioning women into the workplace, advice that I took. I liked that they were respectful, with no haggling over the quality of my items, and very knowledgeable. I’ll never do the traditional consignment ever again. Clothes Mentor is the way to clear out your closets!"
