"First let me start by saying this whole work staff except my movers are rude as hell! I’ve only ever been really nice to these people and also calm ! The new store manager tried to tell me I called and laughed at her when I’ve never laughed when taking care of my business or furthermore especially when I have proof on a recording there was no laughing or none of that ! They made my payment seem like it was 35 days late but it was not ! They say one thing and the paper said another as to my due date. The level of ghetto I’ve witnessed at this store is crazy. She claims she’s talked to me on the phone about my account but NEVER HAS I only talked to Zack about my account and when she called it was for 2 seconds because she was calling me about something that had already been resolved! I returned my things fast only due to constantly being harassed on top of that the price was changed multiple times ! I agreed on one price and then I call back to pay for my furniture and ITS ANOTHER PRICE. Rent a center needs to find better employees because the way they think they’re untouchable is crazy.then to add they scuffed our NEW APARTMENT walls and chipped part of our doors around the house ! Also they did not set up the washer and dryer correctly and due to that the apartment was flooded and it was only our 3rd day being there."
"If you call corporate (third time I’ve called corporate since the new store manager took over), and request to speak to the regional manager, it won’t happen unless you’re threatened by the district manager like I was. I was trying to stay levelheaded until I was threatened and was told personally on the phone that, and I quote “that it was his merchandise and that he would blacklist it and personally come it himself.” I’ve worked in customer service for the last several years of my life and I’ve dealt with district managers like this guy, and they do not put the customer first. It’s about one thing, which is their paycheck, and that nice bonus that they get at the end of the year depending on the numbers, otherwise known as KPI (Key Performance Indicators), which every company is different, so I don’t know what theirs is and what standards they have to meet, nor do I care. I just know that I also requested to go to arbitration because it is in the contract that you have the right to an arbitration case, and yet, I was still threatened with the blacklist on the phone that I had in my possession, while in store, and in the store, the store manager was like “you have until a certain time before I call L.P. (Loss Prevention) to blacklist the phone, which is just wrong, and bad customer service. If anyone that reads this that doesn’t work for corporate wants the district manager’s name and number, let me know, and I will proudly give it to you to call him personally. He’s sick of me as it is and I don’t care, so like I said, whoever corporate wants the district manager’s name and number, let me know, and I will proudly give it to you to call him personally. Oh, and there’s nothing that can be done because of the freedom of speech, otherwise known as the First Amendment, so corporate, as in the higher ups, when you read this, I’ll be waiting for your call as well because by then, I will have blocked the store’s number, and the district manager in charge for the area that I live in, his number will be blocked as well. Lastly, shoutout to Alex, the account manager once more at that store because he’s the best employee that they have. Great guy and account manager as well!"
