Pit Stop

"SECOND EDIT: Funny how the owner is pointing fingers at me for stirring up drama.. almost like she totally forgot the Facebook posts she’s made about the other businesses on that corner. I don’t know the Socks personally. So no, I’m not just “sticking up for my friends”. I’m going off of personal experiences and things told to us by others who have had run-ins with the owner. But it’s cool. The great part about this country is I can choose where to spend my money. EDIT: The review below was written based on the restaurant being ran by Chuck Socks and his wife. They are no longer affiliated with the Pit Stop and we have not returned. Just the drama around the “takeover” is enough to turn us away. I cannot say if the food is the same at this point, although suspect it is not. Original Review- The owners are incredibly friendly and you can tell they put their heart into the food they serve. Yeah it may be more expensive than grabbing a $2 biscuit but I’d take their food over fast food any day. Small things like the grilled toast with breakfast and the seasoning on their fries show they really want to put out a great product.. and they do. Oh and Jeepers…!! They have dragon ducks!!"

"Super cool place to stop before tackling the Tail of the Dragon. Owner is super nice and eager to make sure you are taken care of! Breakfast was phenomenal. I highly recommend stopping in!!!"

"The atmosphere here is really cool. Very biker friendly (obviously based on location) decent souvenirs. Service was excellent and friendly. Unfortunately that’s where the good part ends. The food is slightly overpriced. Our group had BBQ Chicken & Pork. It was extremely salty. To the point is was not edible. The toppings bar was well stocked. The sides were mediocre. The seating is all bar height. Seating is very uncomfortable chairs with small bases. If you’re even slight over a 180 lbs you won’t be comfortable long. When this first opened it was competition quality bbq and sides. The food quality was outstanding. Unfortunately food quality has gone down hill. It is BYOB if want to bring your own beer."

"Hamburger and fries 20 bucks had to get my own coke burger didn't have lettuce tomatoes or onions just meat and bacon and cheese the bun was four inches thick bread is a no and people was not friendly"

"Great place to eat! Food comes out hot and fresh. Dan is an absolute gem! He makes sure everything's great for the customers. Everyone should stop in and see the smoking dragon as well!"
