"Absolutely loved my experience at the Snoring Bear Diner! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply outstanding. The Reuben sandwich was perfectly crafted, with just the right balance of flavors. The onion rings were crispy and delicious, a perfect side to complement my meal. But the real star of the show was their specialty hot dog – a unique and delightful treat. Not only was the quality of the food top-notch, but the portions were generous, ensuring you get great value for your money. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, which only added to the overall excellent dining experience. To top it all off, the diner is located near a charming antique outlet mall, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal after some shopping. Highly recommend the Snoring Bear Diner for anyone looking for great food, great prices, and a friendly environment. A solid five stars from me!"
"Hidden gem. Been traveling across the country and in the last two weeks this has been some of the tastiest food. Everything had a very good flavor. Little extra touches. Prices were normal."
"After a fun day at Cade's Cove, we were super hungry and needed a place to eat. The Snoring Bear was close by, so we thought, "Why not give it a shot?" But when we walked in, we noticed the restaurant was pretty small, and the seating area had a mix of different chairs and tables, which didn't leave much space. The kitchen was right next to where we were sitting, and it made the air inside kinda smoky and thick. Not the most pleasant atmosphere, for sure. The food itself was just okay, nothing to write home about and the portions were on the smaller side. It also took forever for our food to arrive, even though there weren't many people in the restaurant at the time. We all ordered water to drink, and they actually charged us 50 cents for each water! And to make matters worse, the water didn't taste very fresh either. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place, and won't be going back there anytime soon. I feel there are better options out there."
"We love coming here, we come frequently! Sweet tea has always been sweet. Friendly staff. Get the deviled eggs, the bacon on them is really good Pulled pork tacos are great as are the snoring bear burger and the one with the fried egg, bbq sauce and pulled pork. Chili is flavorful, recently tried the steak fries and also were quite good."
