"Lovely unique collection!!! Also the staff (Claudia and another lady) was extremely friendly and helpful in helping me chose the multi purpose shawl/poncho I eventually bought. Will definitely visit it again. Awesome place."
"I personally had a really lovely experience, the owner is a very sweet Colombian woman who was really helpful overall! And their incense selection is pretty phenomenal, will definitely be returning"
"Open Door is a cute little shop along the "main drag" of downtown Asheville. We came here browsing and getting a feel for the local retail experience, and although we did not end up finding anything to purchase, there were plenty of interesting and unique objects."
"I had an sadly dishonest shopping experience at this boutique. I asked to try on the dress on display as it was the last with a floral pattern. The owner asked me to try on a similar dress on the floor as it would be difficult to take off the manikin (but that she would take it off for purchase). I tried it on the one on the floor but again, let her know that I did not like the pattern of this one and wanted to purchase the one on display. She said she would take it off the manikin and hold it for me behind the counter. She bagged it while I talked to my friend. I returned home to San Diego and opened the bag to find that she had not given me the one off the manikin as agreed. She knew we were from out of town. She knew I did not like the paisley patterned dress and would not have purchased it. Sadly that was the pattern I took home. I may be moving to Asheville in the next few months, but I will not be returning to this store."
"Claudia, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind! My family and I visited the store three times during our four day stay in Asheville and each time we talked for hours."
