"This was honestly the most horrific and traumatic visit to a store. I generally do not go into stores like this MAINLY because I am “welcomed” with prejudice and just down right snobby people. But a friend of mine wanted to get me a formal dress for our cruise and wanted to check out Dillards because she is a loyal shopper there and they had a sale. From the start we were followed by the manager Payton is her name. When we got to the dressing rooms the two ladies there were acting very suspicious of us when we just wanted to try on dresses. When we finished up in the dressing rooms the lady yelled saying “THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE 8 ITEMS” I let her know they were all here and when she recounted there was indeed all total 8 items. When we got to the register my mom asked for the manager because she wanted her items to be held, the manager said that was fine. Our friend that was with us had put a item ON TOP of her personal bag and the manager accused her of “concealment” and told her “you are now band from the store” not only was that a stupid and ridiculous accusation but the item was on sale for 5 bucks.. you would think if someone was trying to steal it would be of more value lol. On top of all of that once we left the store the little mall security guard FOLLOWED her out to try and get her license plate.. as if she stole something and was trying to leave the store with it. I truly believe this was racially motivated because I am black and Mexican and my sister along with my mother are Mexican. We were treated wrongly through this whole experience and didn’t even get to buy the clothes we did indeed intend to buy. We are not just leaving this at a review we’re going to take further action because we were wronged based by our looks. And to you Ms. Store manager of 15 years, Payton, I hope you are enjoying your sad and bored life because hate will get you nowhere. I’m a minor btw.. so thanks for giving me ptsd."

"I love this place! I am waiting for the 50% off everything again! Last time they had the 50% off super sale I bought Xmas and birthday gifts for everyone I know! I shop for all my family members. My daughter-in-law wears size 0 and loves MK and I always find clothes for her. Sometimes they have a lot of shoes, next time they may have a lot of swim suits, etc. You never know what they’ll have. But it seems like they always have a lot of Big men’s inventory. They have nice carts and my husband and I both get one and go in different directions and fill them up!! The best sale was when they have a store wide extra 50% off (on a holiday weekend.) We had to make two trips to our car carrying merchandise!!!"
