"Absolutely great place for breakfast. Love the gravy biscuits. Entire staff is always in a good mood and prideful of what they do hands down best breakfast out there. I am and always will be a customer here as long as it stays like this. I don't know about lunch foods only attend for breakfast but can imagine that it is just as good. This review is only for the location in state road nc. Jonesville nc location is ok but not even close when it comes to food quality. Staff in both locations are excellent."

"If you're looking for a home cooked me, l Terry's Cafe & Catering is where it's at. All the staff are so nice and friendly. The service is great. The atmosphere is likyou'reur sitting at home, and everyone in the neighborhood has come to eat. For this visit, I had the French Toast and sausage and it was great. They now have 2 locations, so you can enjoy the food in State Road, N.C or in Jonesville, N.C"

"I’ve been duped. Snookered. Bamboozled. Hoodwinked. Wooed and enticed by a five star rating, I was so excited to try Terry’s. All 5 stars (and a few 4s) from all reviewers! This place must be awesome! My server, who was very sweet and accommodating, enthusiastically touted all the food options to the point that I was salivating. I wanted to try EVERYTHING! I don’t know what happened, but my experience did not even come close to what it was hyped up to be. Maybe things were just off today. But I don’t think so. The feature burger was nice and big, that is true, but the beef was sorely lacking in flavor and did not perform well on the Texas toast. The hot dog had a good flavor, but was over cooked (it was shriveled and a little hard on the outside). The chili was way too mild and the slaw was way too wet— the bun quickly became soggy. The fries were just average. The sweet tea was excellent. To broaden the scope of my review, I sampled the chicken salad and found the chicken to be tough and lumpy and the flavor bland. Quaint but a bit dark inside, Terry’s is stocked mostly with locals. And for me, it didn’t live up to its laudable billing."
