"I was a patient of Dr. Zhu for years and I've had my issues with getting him to complete paperwork including Prior Authorizations for medication he prescribed. I've also had issues getting refills submitted in a timely manner. With all of that I still left his 5 star rating. I did not decide to change it until recent events....I received a text out the Blue indicating he no longer accepts my insurance and I would either need to switch insurance or find a new primary care provider. I reached out that wirh the short notice I need time to sort it out and requested he submit refills for some of my medication that was low or out. I sent messages and even called in to request it and nothing. I largely due to how thus has been handled found a new PCP but am unable to get in till September 19th. I pray that nothing happens to me since I will be going well over a month without some of my medication. Update: I'm going to chalk up my recent experience to miscommunication. My wife reached out on my behalf and fussed about the situation and this review was mentioned. They immediately submitted refills for all my medication so all is well now"
