"I stay here every time I come to NY, which is at least once a month. It happens to be on the same block as my work, so it’s incredibly convenient, but that is besides the point. They just updated all of the rooms and they are so clean. Top of the line iron (i know this is a niche thing to be excited about), and so close to many amazing restaurants and entertainment spots. But my FAVORITE thing is that they have an incredible Italian restaurant attached to the lobby. Breakfast, dinner, drinks, whatever. They also have the best coffee in the AM (the hotel) and a little snack and wine area. The staff are so awesome and just helpful without being over-the-top. I have stayed in so many places to find my NY home and this has been it"
"My experience here was good. Rooms were not huge, but that wasn’t surprising given the space of the location. A/C worked and amenities were provided. Service provided was wonderful and all our requests were handled quickly and professionally. Shout out to Santi, Zay and Derrick for all their assistance. We did need a late checkout since the kids kept us up all night and we were thankful that accommodation was provided. Only issue was actually the parking associated with the property, which was 2 stores down. Got our ticket validated, but still charged $60 though Hilton website mentions $50. Did prices increase or did the parking place scam us? Dunno, but you pay for convenience."
"Great stay after Thanksgiving! Hotel was busy but efficient. Clean and welcoming. Zay at the front desk was gracious and helpful to us and everyone I saw approach the desk, both staff and guests. He is a great asset for Hilton!"
"I must admit I was underwhelmed by this experience. The hotel room was nice enough…clean. The issues I had were with the inattentiveness of the staff, the absurdity of the elevator situation, and the fact that my thermostat was basically an ornament and they were not interested in doing anything about it. The elevators are very small, and there are only two that service the hotel. And I should mentioned one of them was out of commission for the majority of our stay. It was not a pleasant situation. I should mentioned the location is great. Close to the action. And no, Hilton, I will not be calling to discuss this further."
"The room itself was very clean, kind of small though. For the price we paid ($500/night) we expected a high-end hotel with more upscale amenities and classy, attentive service. I get it this hotel is in NYC and prices will be high, but I felt for the price we should have been receiving a better class of service. Young people at the front desk were cordial, but not trained in top quality customer service. No concierge services, no welcoming information for visitors, breakfast was very expensive--- felt that with us staying 8 nights that we'd get a least one or two days of breakfast included. No fan/exhaust in the bathroom, noisy air conditioner, not much room to store your luggage/clothes... But it IS very clean and a nicely decorated room. No complaints about the actual hotel building itself. Just needs to up its game to charge that much."
