Delta Hotels by Marriott New York Times Square

"The only good thing is the location. Everything else is horrible, so stay at your own risk. 1. The bathroom door is weird doesn't close fully. It is almost as if it is a fake door and the toilet chair is right on your face. 2. They do not even have a proper wardrobe in the room to keep the clothes in. 3. The service is pathetic. The coffee machine doesn't work and they took 1.5 hr saying they are sending someone to fix it (still waiting for them as I write this). They say there's just 1 single person serving the entire hotel, which to me seems ridiculous given how much they are charging per night . Would rather stay in an AirBnB with 1000x better facilities in the room and no room service at all just like here. When I asked for just some hot water instead they said we can't provide that either. 4. They have 3 lifts but somehow none of them work properly."

"Great location. Walking distance to good shops. However, the hotel is just a mess. The front desk clerk was polite and professional upon check-in. Room was NOT thoroughly prepared or clean. We had no wash clothes. I called and requested wash towels at 11pm, 12:32, and then sent a message via the app at 1:13am. I eventually went to sleep without being able to shower. I called at 12noon next day, front desk clerk apologized but no one brought towels. I eventually called the Ambassador Line as a loyal Marriot customer. The housekeeper arrive at my door 15mins later with large dry towels. I told him that I needed wash clothes. He only had one towel in his storage closet. This experience is laughable because they clearly don’t take customer service serious. My room was on the 29th floor and the workers made a lot of noise, slamming doors, going in/out a nearby room everyday all day. I assume the nearby room is their hang-out room. So rude inconsiderate of guest to be so loud. I will NEVER stay at Delta Times Square again."

"This hotel was simply ok. We wanted to stay near times square so the location was great. The maid staff was also nice, clean rooms everyday. The room space was great. However some cons: I don't have a problem with a no door shower however they should make sure it works like it's supposed to. Water poured all over the bathroom floor. Also the toilet didn't flush sometimes, the sink clogged everytime you turned on the water and the hot water took long to get hot sometimes. The whole bathroom needs improvement and fixings. Next, the lighting in the room was horrible. The lamps were very dim and there was only about 4 of them in the room. If you don't have the window open you can barely see. Overall this hotel was very mediocre. For the short time we were there we just accepted the issues. Wouldn't stay here again."

"For being a Marriott branded hotel, I expected something a bit nicer. The renovations aren't very well executed. The bathroom floor is supposed to all go to one drain, but it isn't sloped correctly, so water builds up all over the floor and doesn't flow to the drain. The bed was comfortable, and the service was great all around."

"After I booked this hotel on Priceline, I started to read the reviews on Google. It Started to make me nervous reading some of the negative comments. However, once I walked in the lobby today to check in, I was pleasantly surprised how functional and clean the Delta Hotel was. It smelled very clean throughout the lobby and in our rooms. The room is a perfect size. They designed the room to be extremely efficient and I like it. The location is absolutely perfect, with only a small walk to Times Square. Please ignore most of the low reviews! Most of them seem to be anecdotal or extremely pompous people who have unrealistic expectations. I would absolutely stay again."
