"Hi, just here to update my review! I must have accidentally left two starts by mistake. Visited over the weekend (Feb 2024). The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The free breakfast is an absolutely pleasant experience! I loved the layout of my room with the two smart TVs. The living room area with the couches is so nice to relax and watch a movie. I would definitely stay here again. What a comfortable stay! So worth every penny!"
"I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for an anniversary trip and let me tell you it's been one of the best hotels I have stayed at. We got the room with the Empire State Building view which I highly recommend doing! The view is breathtaking. The rooms are quiet, spacious and clean. I liked that it had a smart TV and mini fridge. The hotel is also located close to everything, only a few mins walk from subway stations, times square, stores, etc. The staff during breakfast was also very diligent, caring, and kind. The large amount of food choices were exquisite . During happy hour time they provided complimentary drinks and snacks. The front desk employees were very nice except for only one at check in who we could barely understand and he was getting a bit frustrated and showed a bit of attitude but nothing crazy that affected my overall stay. I am also a hilton member and was able to use my account for discounted rates. Highly recommend this hotel!"
"The location is great and surprising quiet. The breakfast was amazing. They made omelettes to order and there was lots of choice - bacon, sausage, french toast, pancakes, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, breads... There is also a happy hour in the restaurant with 2 free drinks and snacks. When I needed something like clean facecloths or tissue, it was brought up very quickly. The bed was comfortable, but the bedding was old and frayed and the pillows were floppy and sad. The comforter was very thin and I was cold at night, as cold air came in through the drafty windows - the heating unit was on the other side of the room near the door. The bathroom was a real problem and the people at the desk didn't seem to care. The door wouldn't close, so if someone is sitting on the toilet and another person opened the room door, you would get a full view. The bathroom is also REALLY tiny - my knees were underneath the vanity when sitting on the toilet. There is no room on the vanity to put things like makeup or hair products. The shower is ok, but there is little water pressure and just lukewarm water. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible. There are steps to get up to the entrance and there are no automatic doors until you get beyond the outer entrance."
"Don't know why some people give this place a bad review but remember this place has over 300 rooms and it's packed, and only a few people write reviews, so the majority of people must be happy and just don't say anything. The room was well sized, very clean, good quality sheets and a comfortable bed. The gym has great equipment, more than I've experienced in most hotel gyms. The staff as a whole were very friendly and helpful. I think the only small con I had was the confusing pricing, we booked on Agoda for a price but didn't get charged that whole price, then when checking in we were charged the remaining amount for 'incidentals' and then we were told we had $30 credit per day at the bar downstairs, where one glass of wine was $18. You also have free evening snacks (the beans were fabulous) and 2 drinks (that's includes the same wine) each from 5-6.30pm. So in the end I'm unsure how that worked and would have prefered to just pay a flat rate. We would definitely still stay here again, we were very comfortable and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see easily."
"We were here for four nights/five days and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Perfectly located in the heart of Manhattan and close to subway stops for elsewhere. Breakfast was among the better quality breakfasts we’ve ever had at a hotel chain. Although, this room was small and fills up fast. And, while the cocktail hour is a nice touch, another bartender is needed to help deal with the flow of traffic. Shout out to Bruno who checked us in and was fantastic. Overall we would stay at this hotel again while visiting Manhattan."
