"I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the service I received from Hackensack Meridian Health. As a parent seeking a comprehensive evaluation for my child, who was preliminarily diagnosed with a developmental condition, I expected professional and empathetic assistance. Unfortunately, my experience was far from it. Despite explaining that the initial diagnosis was based on a basic screener and not a thorough evaluation, I was informed that they do not accept new patients with a diagnosis. This is perplexing and disheartening, especially when the purpose of my call was to seek a more complete and accurate assessment. Moreover, the interaction with the supervisor was particularly disheartening. I was abruptly told that she couldn't spend more time on the phone with me as she had other duties, which felt dismissive and unsympathetic to my child's needs. This lack of empathy and unwillingness to provide guidance or alternatives was not only unprofessional but also contrary to what one would expect from a healthcare provider. Being advised to simply return to the pediatrician for more referrals felt like being turned away without any attempt to assist or understand the situation. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and let down by a system that should be there to support and guide families through challenging healthcare scenarios. I hope this feedback prompts a re-evaluation of customer service and patient interaction protocols at Hackensack Meridian Health. Hospitals were created to serve the public, and this type of dismissiveness in handling patient concerns is unacceptable. Families, especially those dealing with challenging healthcare scenarios, deserve to be treated with respect, understanding, and a willingness to help. My experience stands in stark contrast to these values. It is imperative that a healthcare institution like Hackensack Meridian Health upholds the highest standards of patient care and empathy, ensuring that every interaction reflects the core purpose of healthcare: to assist and support those in need."

Over the years, Dr. Roth and staff has treated me and my kids with a deep, abiding respect ... through thick and thin, along with a mutual trust built up over the years. She always answers any question or concerns, and has always been extremely supportive and protective of my kids, from the time they've been yon-toddlers to now college students! I highly recommend her and any physician in the practice for serving my family for more than a decade."
"So far, it has been impossible to get a timely appointment with this doctor! I called in January trying to get an appointment for my son. I was told to call back in mid-March. I called in mid-March and was transferred to an intake employee. That employee told me to call back after June 30. What ridiculousness! If I call back after June 30, I wonder how much longer they'll make my son wait just to schedule an appointment with Dr. Roth."
"We waited 6 months to get an appointment. 3 days before our appointment the receptionist called us to cancel our appointment because of our insurance, a fact they knew 6 months ago when we filled out the forms they sent us. Even when we offer to pay out of pocket they still won’t take us. The most unbelievable part is they won’t explain why we can’t be seen. The receptionists are rude and unprofessional, not even an apology for their negligence and all the trouble they have caused."
