"4 months after my daughter was misdiagnosed at 17 with diverticulitis at bayshore medical, she was having pain again. Took her to Jersey shore medical who said it’s acute appendicitis and she needed her appendix removed. Great experience from beginning to end. Yes, ER time was long, Ct scan also, I guess thats normal for an ER but after my daughter was admitted everything just flowed. Nurses room 270A 10/17 Marlene, Emily and Kylee were excellent!! Couldn’t have asked for better care. Nurse Emily even went the extra mile to assist with getting my daughters nose ring back in because I’m blind as a bat ❤️. Thank you ladies for such excellent care. Dr Mcquire was fantastic, very thorough when explaining the details regarding my daughters procedure. I am forgetting a few names who popped in during our visit they were fantastic also! Nobody likes the hospital, but couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!"

"We can’t thank the pediatric surgery team enough for all they have done for our son since diagnosing him with Hirschprungs Disease and performing his pull through surgery. Dr Kayton and all of his team have been amazing since day 1 when we met them in the Nicu when our son was born. We now look forward to all of our follow up visits with him and the team to show how far our little man has come and how well his is doing. Thank you all so much for everything!"

"Came to the ER tonight as baby was complaining of shoulder pain following an incident in daycare. Doctor David Y Feingold was able to assess, diagnose and resolve the issue within 3 seconds. By performing a quick elbow maneuver my child left pain free, with full arm movement. I cannot thank this center and doctor enough, he is truely amazing. Also, I have observed all of the staff during the evening shift and they are all phenomenal ! Thank you all and always remember, all of your hard work never goes unnoticed !"

"Words cannot describe what an incredible experience I had with the specialists at this hospital. No one could figure out what was wrong with my son after many exams and many tests. We finally wound up with Dr. Riollano Cruz, Infectious Disease Specialist, who took such time and care with my son. Ultimately, we learned it was not an infectious disease. Yet, she still worked with him and acted as his "navigator" scheduling appointments with other specialists. Each one we saw spent well over an hour talking to and examining my son. I knew we were in the best hands. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."

"Most staff are good and seem to care for their patients when admitted. However, communication to patients, and wait time are the reasons for the low star review. Don't expect to be treated as soon as you come here (even if it's an emergency), for your sick child. They will make you wait and not tell you anything about what are next steps. We waited 5 hours in an EMERGENCY room before seeing the doctor. I asked to speak to the clinic manager about this but they were conveniently "not in". If your child needs immediate attention, save yourselves a lot of time and go to another ER."
