"This place really is wonderful I know before coming here the intake department told me I had to see a psychiatrist to get talk therapy here but it’s worth it the therapists here are so nice and patient and the intake department got to know a lot about me and helped me through the registration process. I came here from revived soul medical p.c on 1329 east 17th street. I was seeing a psychiatrist there but they had a long wait list for psychotherapy so I gave this place a try. I was super nervous about starting therapy but after just a few sessions I see improvement already.I’m very grateful for this place my friend shayna referred me here because she used to be a patient here when she lived in Brooklyn years ago. If you are serious about getting help definitely give them a call you won’t regret it they have been nothing but good to me here and took me seriously and treated me with respect. Good for telehealth too if you like zoom sessions from the comfort of your own home if you don’t want to come in person. Thank you neighborhood counseling"

"If I could give negative stars I would. Everyone from the front desk to the therapists to the “doctors” (psychiatrists) are really (I tried so hard to find a more professional word or be less bitter) but it’s impossible. They are HORRIBLE people. The focus should be on helping the patient. They violate hippa, are lackluster with their services and are downright mean. Nicki, Carol, Dr. Maurice Massse: you should be ashamed of yourselves that you are making money from mental health services but doing it in a complete “business like” fashion. WE COME TO YOU FOR HELP NOT TO FEEL WORSE!!!!!” It’s not just me- check the other reviews on all platforms. Smh. What a horrible thing to actually TRY and hurt your patients. Smh … the system ? The people? What’s your excuse?"

"Everyone I have dealt with at NCC has been incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. This is the first practice I've visited where the doctor is actually willing to discuss medication options and explain his choices to me, rather than writing a prescription and not allowing me any input. My therapist is also very sweet and makes me feel heard. I would recommend this place to anyone who is struggling and could use some guidance."

"If you are looking for help, do not rely on this facility. "We do not have the resources necessary to help you." This clinic has opted to have everything remote due to COVID-19. That is fine, yet it has not invested in any infrastructure to support that. Dr. Masse was late for my appointment. He spent half the time complaining about my cell reception. I was ready with headphones and excellent phone reception. Dr. Masse was clearly not using headphones and his spotty reception was not optimized. This is your responsibility. Dr. Masse has a heavy accent and I understand the difficulty. I do not mind. What I do mind is indifference. Healthcare quality has been diluted and the patient is no longer the priority. Ms. Nicky Pallotta had the courtesy to return my call after 1 day and 3 phone calls later. She confirmed that I had wasted a month waiting for a futile appointment. I am deeply dissatisfied. I am deeply disappointed. Please save yourself time and hope by seeking help elsewhere."
