"Disorganized when it comes to scheduling. Scheduling was made very difficult. I made an appointment through ZocDoc and their office told me to fill out the forms within 24 hours in order to confirm my appointment. I submitted the forms within 1 hour and they confirmed my appointment. However, a week later, their office kept calling me and texting me to get me to change my appointment day because they had an existing patient that needed my time slot. I repeatedly explained to them that I could only do 1 specific day a week and eventually they told me that I couldn’t meet with my original therapist and they wanted to give me another therapist. I ultimately decided against working with this practice because the scheduling process was too chaotic and they were too pushy in trying to get me to change my appointment in order to accommodate someone else. I also really liked the bio for the therapist I had originally booked with and I didn’t want a session with someone else. If the scheduling process is too unpredictable and they’re not capable of honoring appointments made through ZocDoc, they should just have people book appointment directly with their receptionist. This will help avoid negative introductory experiences like mine."
"A dozen plus yrs of CBT with a handful of therapists had been varyingly helpful but ultimately led me to taper off and stop, feeling I couldn’t get anywhere beyond a certain point. After two years I was moved to try again, I found Resilient Minds via friend referral and was paired with Christina. I feel in several months I’ve covered more ground than in over a decade prior — hyperbolic statement yeah but it really has been an inspired experience, even discussing the gnarliest personal details has been at times “fun”. Very happy to have found this."
"Resilient Mind has been a real game-changer for me. When I first walked in, there was this immediate sense of ease, like I'd found a place where I could just be me without any judgment. What I appreciate most is that they create an atmosphere where you can dig deep without feeling awkward. It's not about textbook solutions; it's about finding what works for you. My experience with my therapist was like chatting with a friend who got a bunch of tricks up their sleeve for dealing with life's curveballs. I like that—it's real, it's practical. The vibe there is super friendly and understanding. They get that life gets messy sometimes, and they're not there to make you feel bad about it. Instead, it's about helping you figure out how to handle the mess in a way that makes sense for you. So, if you're on the lookout for a place where you can unravel a bit, figure stuff out, and not feel like you're in medical clinic, Resilient Mind is the spot. They've been a solid support for me, and I reckon they might be just what you're looking for too."
"I was really looking for a therapist who didn’t just have clinical skills, but also actually cared about my well-being. I truly felt at home at resilient mind. Everyone at resilient mind is a pleasure to speak to. The staff is very caring, organized, and empathetic. They matched me with my therapist over a year ago and it was the perfect fit. Really helped me level up in so many areas of life!!"
"Mira recently visited our Little Bees school for community helpers week. She organized and performed a session about feelings. She was very engaging and our little students loved her uplifting energy! I highly recommend Mira from Resilient Mind Psychotherapy for any children, and young adults who are seeking mental and emotional awareness. She is a passionate, caring, and dedicated art therapist."
