"If I could give 0 stars, I would. This provider missed my pre-eclampsia with severe features diagnosis. I was in renal failure and both mine and my baby’s lives were in jeopardy. I knew something was not right, and he condescendingly told me “labor is called labor for a reason. It’s hard work and you can’t take the way way out”. And then proceeded to tell me I was not a candidate for a cesarean because of my weight. I told him my MFM said if I was not happy with my induction, they could do a cesarean. This provider then inferred I was a liar because “he knew this doctor personally and he wouldn’t say that because he doesn’t perform them”. I ended up having an emergency C-section to save both of our lives. I’m just glad it wasn’t him who preformed it. I was nothing but polite despite being a petrified FTM who was in an emergent medical situation. There are witnesses to these interactions. He also left things out of my chart and charted blatantly wrong information. In such a severe situation, you would think things would be charted thoroughly and correctly. A lot of trauma and hospital time for both me and baby could have been spared if this doctor listened to his patient, and left his arrogance at the door."

I also saw his brother throughout my pregnancy and he was Amazing as well Dr Benjamin Morgan. Both doctors were incredible throughout my pregnancy. "Dr. Steve is useless and unhelpful. He does not listen and is rude. He wrote completely false statements in my chart. If you have questions be prepared to be made to feel stupid. Understanding the maternal mortality statistics for Black women in New Jersey, it is important you feel safe and heard. This man did none of those things. He would cut me off and not even ask in depth questions to understand the circumstance. At my last appointment, he basically told me that if I am not happy I should find a new doctor. I was in tears and he did not even care. The staff and Dr. Ben are amazing but having Dr. Steve apart of my care team was not worth the anxiety."
