"I LOVE Kathy but something is going on with that practice. I called in March to schedule my annual after receiving a postcard in the mail. I was given a June appointment date as the earliest I could be seen. In May, I received a call from the office saying they needed to reschedule me in late August due to unforeseen circumstances. I get it, things happen. I asked if I could see another doctor at the practice since I had been waiting so long already and had a couple of things I needed to discuss with my doctor. I was told no, she wants to see all of her patients and I can't see someone else in the meantime. I asked again and reiterated that I've been waiting since March and had some things that I needed to ask a doctor about -- and I was put on hold. Once the receptionist got back on the phone I was offered an appointment in late June with a different doctor -- and was told if I saw him, I would "never be allowed to see Kathy again". Needless to say, I have an appointment next week at a different practice -- this is insane. I would love a call back from a manager to understand how/why this happened."
