"Personally I don't get the 1 star reviews. The last few months I've found myself here more than I would like (lol), and everyone has always been very nice. There can be a long wait time but I expect that at an urgent care. I went a few days ago with some oh so fun bronchitis and was treated well and listened to. I've never felt rushed, even when the visit is quick. Everyone said get well soon, and so did the receptionists while I was leaving. They weren't saying it just to say it, they genuinely care that you feel better. And I do feel better so thank you for being awesome!"

"I’d give zero stars if I could. Went for a sick visit at 6pm, no cars in the parking lot, no patients in the waiting room. Before I even got through the door, the unprofessional & obnoxious front desk receptionist was barking at me about something- honestly had no idea what she was even saying bc I was just in shock, on top of being sick & exhausted. I looked at her and said “what are you saying?” & she proceeded to tell me “you can check in but if we don’t call you by 7:30pm, you aren’t being seen.” I understand it’s sick season & everyones tired but no manners what so ever & no one deserves to be spoken too like an idiot. I’m sure she wouldn’t like it if someone spoke to her that way when she’s not feeling well. Recommending everyone to stay far away from AtlantiCare Urgent Care."

"The Doctors don't care and give you an attitude anytime they have to make a diagnosis. Basically learned nothing about my issue or how to treat it. They said here is your prescription, bye. They didn't even look at the problem area. I felt very rushed out the door after waiting over 2 hours to be seen. Been there more than 1 time and had the same experience every time. Go to City MD Urgent Care on Bay Ave instead."

"My daughter had a very unexpected accident last night at 7:30pm. Our local urgent care was already closed so we called AtlantiCare in Manahawkin. They said the facility was closed at 8pm so we decided to go (we live 15 minutes away). While handling paperwork at the front the desk, a woman walked over and asked me why I was there, what time it happened, etc. I answered in detail assuming this was the nurse who was going to help my daughter. While I explained, she continued to shake her head with a “shame on you”, annoyed look on her face. Without saying a word she turned around and walked back into the room she had originally been in. A few minutes later we were called back and a very nice nurse helped my daughter. It turns out the original woman was only asking those questions because she was annoyed we came in 15 minutes before closing. She had no business asking me anything, as she had nothing to do with my daughter’s care. Why work in an emergency facility if you’re going to be mad about the time these emergencies occur?"

"This urgent care saw my daughter and collected the correct copay at the time of visit, but their billing department has been continuously trying to collect more from us after the visit because they can't figure out how to bill my Federal BCBS as an urgent care and keep putting it through as a specialty doctor. Each wasted phone call to their "billing department", aka a call center in India, ends with confusion, no answers to your questions, an employee stating "they'll look into this but don't call back for another 20 days", all to get the "remaining balance" bill in the mail again! We've made numerous calls and got absolutely nowhere. Their billing department is completely INCOMPETENT, they barely speak English, and isn't even located in the United States. Why should anyone continue to support this local urgent care when they can't even support keeping jobs local? I'll be paying this remaining fraud balance and never returning, as to avoid someone in India putting me into collections! I also advise any prospective patients to steer clear, as this was our first time and definitely our last as well. The reviews speak for themselves....."
