"She is amazing! She explains everything medical term in a manner so as to provide clarity without making you feel dumb. Her ability to answer questions then ensure you understand adds alot of comfort. Would recommend anyone to her."
"She’s no longer at this location. If anyone has details on where she is located now please update! She’s the best OBGYN"
"She’s amazing. Hands down. Waited two months for an appointment and I haven’t looked back. She found things that were addressed immediately ( that my previous GYN had not). She is not dismissive, as a negative review stated. If anything, she goes out of her way to make you feel at home. She calls you so many times prior to surgery ( no matter how busy a day she’s had. I’m talking finding times that work for you, even evenings) ) and walks you through the process as many times as you need. I love her !"
"I came to Dr. Lubin because I have chronic endometrial polyps, with side effects of chronic fatigue, mood swings, irregular periods. I requested (not under her suggestion whatsoever), that I get multiple hormone/thyroid blood tests done. No one ever called me with the results and it wasn’t until a MONTH later that I was able to finally schedule an appointment to get the results back. Dr. Lubin wrote off my results as “in normal range,” even though I had an elevated testosterone level and a low thyroid T3 level at 3.1 (under active thyroid). When I began to tell her my symptoms of how I couldn’t get out of bed, my radical mood swings, she downplayed my symptoms as “stress” and suggested antidepressants. I WANT TO PAUSE HERE - to any women who are currently suffering from the symptoms I have written about, this is the common response from most conventional OBGYNs or as I like to call them “dollar store gynecologists” - they don’t know how to work with these symptoms so they suggest one of the two solutions: Birth Control or Antidepressants. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. If you already have a hormone imbalance, the birth control will only de-regulate your imbalance or ameliorate your symptoms. Antidepressants should never be suggested so flippantly either, let alone by a gynecologist WHO HAS NO MENTAL HEALTH EXPERIENCE AND OR KNOWLEDGE as a solution to something that is hormonally related. You should only take them under the advice of a psychiatrist and be working with a psychoanalyst weekly to work through and dismantle any false beliefs, or detrimental behavioral patterns you are looking to change. My point is these are two separate issues, one of which, your mental health is not something a gynecologist should even have a say in. I immediately shut her down when she made these suggestions to me, because like all dollar store gynecologists, they want to put a bandaid on the underlying health issue that they can’t seem to pinpoint. The idiotic logic goes: Well if I can’t see it, it must not be true. I insisted on an ultrasound to see if my polyp had gotten larger, she responded with a sigh and an “okay” as if I was a) being difficult b) implied she was passive aggressively dismissing my request. She also passed along the name of a nutritionist who was a “PCOS expert.” When I called to schedule to see this nutritionist, it turned out she ran a medi spa in Harlem, who did not offer the thorough blood work that I wanted, and had a one size fits all nutritional program for a whopping $2,000 dollars. Once I received the results from my ultrasound, it seemed that my ovaries were showing signs of PCOS. She finally admitted that with my test results and the symptoms I was experiencing, I did in fact have PCOS. Had I known SIX MONTHS EARLIER I could have prevented my PCOS from becoming disastrously debilitating to the point where the chronic fatigue keeps me in bed most days. I want to implore anyone considering seeing Dr. Lubin to look elsewhere. My biggest fear is a woman who does not have my resources will be gaslit by her and end up miserable, on antidepressants or birth control or both, thinking it’s HER FAULT she feels the way that she does. Just remember most doctors do not want to truly listen and find the root problem of what you’re experiencing. They want to diagnose, prescribe, and move on. This woman is a walking medical nightmare, and continues to make people sicker, please STAY AWAY."
"I started seeing Dr.Lubin at 6 mnths pregnant. Best decision she's amazing."
