"Let me start off with BEN. Ben was our beautiful, god like, friendly, and courageous server. He was the best person ever and was so fun. He made amazing food and played games. Sadly was an 45 minute wait but was in a really strategic area with fun shops around (not bens fault). He gave me soy beans (I do not like them) and I tried it, I actually really liked them. Also he always asked us about allergies a lot which was great. Ben was just god like and needs a raise. In fact he needs to run the place. Please and Thank you. Pls make him owner, or else…"
"We arrived at this establishment on a Friday evening and it is evident that it is quite popular in the area. If you are searching for a venue to accommodate the entire family or to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or graduation, this is the ideal place. However, I would not recommend it for a party of two, as the grills are designed for eight people and the seating arrangement is relatively tight. Therefore, it may not be suitable for an intimate setting or a date night. Our chef and grill master for the evening was Wanda, who was an absolute delight! To start, we enjoyed some spicy edamame and pan-fried dumplings. Since it takes some time for the chef to reach your table, having these appetizers while we waited was perfect. For our main course, we decided to share the Imperial Filet Mignon Hibachi. Instead of the traditional miso soup, we opted for the Gyoza soup, added noodles, and even indulged in an extra lobster tail. Typically, I struggle to finish an entire meal when dining out, but everything was so flavorful that I couldn't resist. At the end of the meal, they serve ice cream, and I highly recommend indulging in it. You won't be disappointed. To accompany our meal, we each had two cocktails and shared a large sake to conclude the night. Personally, I do not foresee myself returning to this particular Hibachi grill in the future. However, if you happen to be in the Bayridge area and are looking for a group activity, this is the perfect place for you."
"Ordered takeout and was told my food would take 25-30 minutes. I ended up waiting an hour... got home to eat my food only to find out the food was nothing special. I asked for medium rare steak and got WELL OVERDONE. Stiff and chewy meat. Never again.. I asked the host what the difference between the samurai steak and regular steak was and one was supposedly more tender than the other. Well fyi, I ordered the samurai steak hibachi and it was unfortunately quite the disappointment. California roll was too mushy as well.... Arirang, I sure hope you will use this review to improve."
"Arirang is a nice change up to your average restaurant. My family and I went here this past Friday evening just to do something different. It's a good choice to do once in a while, as long as you are mainly going for the show and entertainment, the food is ok as far as Asian style food goes, you can get better tasting food from your local Asian restaurant. Arirang's food may be of good quality, but it's mostly just salty rice and veggies. The staff was nice and our Chef Tommy was great and very entertaining, he seemed to genuinely enjoy his work. I would come back again."
