"The front desk and people who answer the phones are rude, argumentative, silly and petty, the front desk is poorly run and twice now they have wasted my money and time. We stayed here for 15 months because of its proximity to SUNY Downstate Hospital, Dr Manopla and the nurse Ms Brown, but today I had enough. They cancelled my daughter's wellcheck appointment that was scheduled for today - which was already delayed two weeks because Dr Manopla's wife was having a baby - because of Rosh Hashana, and did not tell me. I took off work and hailed an Uber to get there, and back home. The woman at the front desk proceeded to try to argue with me about having sent a text! A TEXT!!! I did not receive a text. She verified my number, which was correct, but no text with the appointment change was sent to this number. The last time they sent a text to this number was on June 14, 2021 at 10:57 am when, after a woman took and verified my email address and promised to email my daughter's medical form and immunization record and did not, they sent a text saying the medical form was ready (and after calling FOUR times, being hung up on twice, I finally hailed an Uber there and back on June 18, 2021 and, while I was there, a woman from behind the front desk walked past me and posted a sign on the door saying per HIPAA they can't email records, which is a lie btw. The last person I'd spoken to on the phone said something was wrong with their system and that's why they couldn't email the forms, which is more believable. Apparently though, the front desk person couldn't tell me that to my face, instead she walked past me to post a lie and then walked past me again to sit behind the front desk. That should've been my last visit to this office, especially since the forms were not ready, after I had been reassured twice over the phone that both forms were ready.). No one followed up, no one called, no one sent anything through the mail or sent an email, and no one received a response from me. She just wanted to argue about having sent a text to the wrong number apparently. I told her that I was not going to argue with her, this was not the first faux pas here, and left. I don't have money or time to waste going to cancelled appointments. Furthermore, I was there, we were there. So no other pediatrician could've examined my daughter, vaccinated her? Dr Manopla didn't know about Rosh Hashana at her last wellness check a few months ago? NO ONE at the front desk knew either? Trying to argue with me about a text is the best they could do?! That's nonsense. I would not recommend this practice to anyone."

"Today I call because to speak to my son’s doctor because my son has a disability and VANESSA what ever her name is was very rude to me and this is not the first time .... she need to have some respect for other people... if it’s not for us girl you won’t have a job so have some respect....Smh if anything happens to my son I will never forgive y’all because I call and ask Vanessa if she can have DR .Dottner please give me a call n she say No... I even ask if it’s a number I can call she said no as well."

"My daughter been going here ever since she was born. Dr. Hanono have you waiting over an hour to be seen even with an appointment. They receptionist staff are very friendly but once you seen it's like they rush your examination. Doctor calls out alot too. Definitely wont be coming here anymore."
