"As a former JCPenney employee, I'm going to give my honest review on this place. (Disclaimer: I do NOT represent the company in any way.) So the Freehold location is pretty good as far as selection goes. They have good clothes for your kids and a selection of sensory friendly shirts there. There's also some cute shoes there, maybe not as great as Famous Footwear but there's still some good options. Women's clothes, juniors, and mens are also well stocked and they also have a good selection of backpacks, purses, home stuff, etc. As for working here though, I can't say it's a good place to work. The managers are really rude (except for the salon manager) and aren't the brightest people. They are so incompetent and overall treat some of us like trash. And they don't train people for the register when they're desperate for cashiers. And they literally hire even the rudest of people because they're desperate for employees. So in conclusion, the place has good clothes and stuff, but terrible managers. If you're thinking of working here, please DON'T."
