"The only place me and my friends will stay when in the city. Vibrant atmosphere, nice sized rooms, above and beyond service, and just overall good vibes. Just left, but will already be back in two weeks and can’t wait!"
"Fabulous hotel. Front desk was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were great and the location was perfect. Will definitely come back."
"This is a basic hotel, good for NYC where you do not want to be spending any more time than you need to in a hotel room. That said, the room was very small, bathroom even smaller, and the heat was uncontrollable, at 78-80 degrees despite all sorts of adjustments on the radiator. There are some places to sit in the hallways and in the multi-level lobby. Bed was comfortable despite the heat and it was quiet except for the false alarm for a fire, fortunately while I was still up. It was a block away from the Bowery Ballroom, where I went to a concert, and close to Chinatown and a few lesser museums. Close to Bowery Subway station."
"We booked Sohotel for our family vacation. It was perfect for our family of 5. My only gripe is the lighting is dim in the room but it was nothing major. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was perfect! We would definitely stay here again!"
"It was great for me. Great location. Rooms were clean. I was just around the corner from the check in desk, which I guess are the newer rooms. It was bigger than most rooms I’ve stayed at in New York. I didn’t have any issues with noise (from the HVAC) or temperature like some of the other reviewers. If you’re very sensitive to either, know it’s a very old building, so may not be best for you."
