"Was charged $90. for a year’s supply of pre-op meds that I only needed to take once due to screening requirements. My surgery was scheduled for the following day. Why didn’t they call the prescribing MD about the dosage ? Questionable to say the least ."
"I called this place and was told that only one medication wasn’t cover. That the other medications would be ready at 3 pm. After a long drive to get there before closing time I was told that if the medication would be paid in cash because the insurance wasn’t covering any of it and that previously I had paid in cash so it shouldn’t be a problem. I explained before there was in insurance lapse and that’s why I had paid in cash. That now the insurance was active and I was told already on a previous conversation that it all would be cover but one medication. He told me to drive back to get the insurance card that they have had on file since the last prescription that was filled a month ago. This place is horrible. Be mindful that they had very limited hours and the next time they would be open will be 2 days from now."
"every time I renew my moms insurance, there’s a problem. I renewed my insurance 2 weeks ago and the insurance company said it’s good to go, I can get my moms refills. I called them again to make sure it’s active, they said it’s active. Why is it that whenever I go to this specific pharmacy and they say it’s not active. I changed the locations and got my prescription there right away. Why is that? Person doesn’t know how to talk to customer either. If you don’t see it, just tell me and give me an explanation, don’t print a paper out that says “not active” what is that suppose to do for me? I only go here because it’s close to me, otherwise I don’t recommend it at all."
"Real helpful pharmacists that care. And they are pretty timely when it comes to filling prescriptions. Not to mention that when I was having an issue with my insurance company filling the prescription, several times, and I had no meds, they gave me several days of meds free of charge so I wouldn’t miss my daily doses. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve had serious medical complications. The only down side I could think of is the hours. They close pretty early and are closed most of the weekend. So if you work a 9 to 5 Monday through Friday you can only get you pick up your meds on Saturday before 3pm. Other than that this pharmacy is one of the better ones."
"Let me count how many ways this place sucks! They left a sick patient (who just had back surgery) waiting for hours who needed emergency antibiotics. The manager and employees could care less. This place is a stink hole. Go to CVS on 204 and Mosholu Parkway instead."
