Reviews
"Great pharmacy in the area! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The pharmacy itself carries everything from household goods to toys and everything in between."
"This review may sound a bit convoluted, but this was my experience here. First, I was very happy with this pharmacy because they were open on weekends and my last pharmacy was not. They have a large selection of household items, food and a great vitamin selection. I had been coming here for several months and all was fine. After I would see my physician I would wait a few days and call or go and ask when I would be able to pick up my medications (important point for later event) whenever they would tell me is when I would come. As it were two prescriptions were controlled substances and I'm highly aware of what that entails and unfortunately that includes occasional discrimination. Mind you my prescriptions are not pain or opioid analgesics. So I would always pick up my meds on the same day, 28 days apart and that would be a Saturday. Now I've noticed that some employees could not seem to grasp that despite the numerical date, four weeks is always going to land on the same day and in this case as I stated it was a Saturday. Despite if I have meds still it's more comforting and convenient to have at least 2 days before I run out so that's how it was. They tell me when to pick up always on a Saturday four weeks apart. I had a planned trip on Sunday to go out east for a Chess Tournament as I work with kids from a Chess club. We planned to leave early (its approx. 70 miles away) on Sunday and the first round begins at 9 a.m. The original plan was to stay at my Mothers place for a few days and now that wasn't going to be a possibility. At this point they started to lie when they told me my insurance would not accept it on Saturday as the been for the last few months so I called my insurance company as they suggested I do. We did a conference call and the insurance company did in fact say that it was covered but now they were telling them that I was quote adamant about getting medication early when it wasn't early and I only get it when they say I can get it. So now after they lied I decided to leave and come back the next day, when I did I encountered the original woman who seemed to be of possibly Indian ancestry and she told me they would not dispense another medication I have that wouldn't be due until next week because of my behavior. So this is the decision I made, I'm not going back I was clearly in the right as I always pick up on a Saturday as they instructed me to and it's unfortunate because I actually like this place and I was basically told they would not fill any prescriptions anymore and I feel like they treated me like some kind of drug addict which is a reprehensible way to treat someone. I'm seeking avenues to file a formal complaint for discrimination. All said and done it's sad that because of that one pharmacist or manager I can no longer go to a store I actually enjoyed going to because of their selection but I will not be going there for anything for the way I was treated by her only."
"one of the best pharmacy experiences I've had. All of the workers try their best to help us out in a timely manner and try to solve problems the same day. they just started doing delivery services for nearby places. For the amount of women working there they learn to handle the rush hour of customers."
"Take your prescriptions elsewhere. The staff is unprofessional. I called to inquire about some medications and because I told the receptionist to cancel my prescription she rudely hung up the phone. I called back and asked for her name and she refused. I then asked to speak with the pharmacist Nick, whom was nice but you can tell wasn’t going to do anything about it. Long wait times, long hold times and the sad part is because the three receptionist are just chatting with each other. The customer service is terrible probably the worse in the entire Bronx. I wouldn’t waste my time taking my medication here where they treat you terrible instead of kind."
"The Middle Eastern lady and the Philippine guy at the cash register charges people for the items and steal them, it's a shop at our own risk place. If you are ever shopping in this place and you are paying for several items at the same time, please count every single item before you leave the store. Be aware you might get a surprise. I most also say that the lady in the actual pharmacy in the back. Where you go for prescriptions, they are very helpful."
